The registration process is dependent on many factors. It is common for the entire process to take 12 to 18 months.
The general process consists of the following steps:
- Develop your documentation: Provider Institute's Policy and Procedure development takes approximately 3 weeks from your first Information Gathering Session.
- Submit an online Application: This is completed by you, the applicant. The Self-Assessment questions are the most time-consuming portion of the online application, however, Provider Institute members can get guidance with the assistance of Provider Institute's Self Assessment Against the NDIS Practice Standards Course
- Audit: Your first Audit generally takes place approximately 1-3 months after submitting the online application.
- Final Decision: The NDIS Commission’s decision on registration approval may take as long as 6 to 12 months after the auditor submits their findings.
